Albert E. Armstrong, 79, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, December 11, 2006 at the MS State Veteran's Home in Jackson. Services were held Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in the Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Armstrong, a veteran of WW II, was a plumber. He was a faithful member of Raymond Road Baptist Church. He loved to fish and work in his wood workshop. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Armstrong of Jackson; daughters, Paula Johnson of Byram, Martha Davis and husband, James, and Jo Ann Armstrong all of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie Weed, Lauren Davis, and Austin Davis; great grandchildren, Travis & Jon David Weed; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Precious.
