On Saturday last Mr. Vyner, Coroner for the district, and a jury of five held an inquest on the body of James Adams, who had died in the lock-up on the previous evening. Deceased, it appeared, had been suffering from congestion of the lungs, and had, while in a delirious state, wandered from his home. He was found lying on tho road near tho Tumut bridge, on the 17th instant, by Constable Keane, and removed to the lock-up, where he afterwards expired. A verdict was returned to the effect that the death of the deceased proceeded from natural causes, but had been accelerated by intemperance.
