US Congressman. He was admitted to the bar in 1894 and opened a law practice in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. In 1921, he was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-seventh Congress and served until 1923. Not a candidate for reelection, he resumed the practice of law until his death.
