In Brookfield, N. Y., June 29, 1895, DeWitt C. Coon, in the 84th year of his age.
A life-long resident of this community, a man of sterling integrity and deep convictions, he was one who will be much missed. For nearly sixty years he had been a professed follower of Christ and over forty years a member of the Second Brookfield Church. As long as he was able he was attentive to all the appointments of the church, and active for its welfare. He leaves a wife, a son and two daughters.
