Brother of Mary Ann 'Polly' Nichols, née Walker, murdered by an unknown person (called 'Jack the Ripper' by the Press) at Bucks Row, Whitechapel, on 31 Aug 1888. Frederick died of pulmonary tuberculosis at 19 Robin Hood Court, Holborn, and was buried in the churchyard at St Andrew's on 19 Apr 1954. His remains were among those removed to the City of London and Tower Hamlets Cemetery when the churchyard was repurposed.
