McLELLAN, BARBARA ANN 1945 - 2015
Barbara Ann McLellan, 69, of Colpitt's Settlement, formerly of Edgett's Landing, passed away on March 8th, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital.
Barb was born in Pugwash, NS, on April 25th, 1945, the daughter of the late Frederick and Beulah (Wells) VanEmber.
Barb worked as a caregiver for seniors and really enjoyed taking care of the elderly. She will be remember for her hardy laugh and telling jokes and stories. Her favourite hobby was reading, she could go through a stack of books in no time. She loved her family very much, her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Barb would definitely not want for people to be sad but to remember the good times they had and keep the treasured memories close.
Barb will be deeply missed by her companion, Dean Beaumont of Colpitt's Settlement; her sons, Troy McLellan (Venus Panio) of Saskatchewan and Lawrence "Larry"McLellan of Dawson Settlement; daughter, Chandra McLellan (Paul Kyle) of Cavendish. PEI; precious grandchildren, Megan and Emily; sister, Goldie Hyslop of Hillsborough; brother, Terry VanEmber of Victoria, BC. She will also be missed by the father of her children, Patrick McLellan and by her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Jenny Spur.
Honoring Barb's own wishes, there will be a private family service at the Albert County Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing at a later date.
Donations to the Green Hill Cemetery or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home.
