Paul Wayne Beck, 87, passed Thursday, April 30, 2020. Born in Huntington, he was a son to the late, Joseph Beck and Clellah (Earhart) Beck.
Paul proudly served his country in the Navy. He had worked for Havel Brothers for several years and then he retired from Shambaugh & Sons. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Community Church.
Paul loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very involved in archery and trap and skeet shooting leagues. Paul also enjoyed golfing. One of Paul’s greatest pleasures was spending time at their lake home with his family.
Paul is survived by wife, Bonnie Lou (Stahl) Beck; children, Mike Beck, Peggy Hannan, Vickie (Greg) Baker and Tammy Strawbridge; brothers, Max (Clara) Beck, Harold (Marian) Beck and Roger (Kay) Beck; 8 grandchildren, Chris Strawbridge, Danny (Mallory) Strawbridge, Haley, Strawbridge, Nicole (Brandon) Baker, Alex Baker, Nathan (Kelley) Beck and Cassandra Beck; and 4 great grandchildren, Ruby, Sullivan, Maia and Leo.
Private services were held for the family. He was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
