Press Nail, 91, passed away February 18, 1997 at his home in Mountain Home, Ark. Press, a former resident of Craig County (close to Centralia) was born January 12, 1906, in Centralia, Indian Territory, to Rosa (Yeager) Nail and Liga Nail.
Press and his wife, Susan Minnie (Cline) Nail, were married in 1938 in Vinita, OK. Press worked as a rancher, coal miner, and farmer in Craig County for 58 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Susan, of the home; one son, Floyd Nail of Vinita, OK. (previously Plano, TX.); one daughter, Fay Weimer, of Mountain Home, Ark.; one sister, Cleva (Nail) Lay of Vinita, OK.; two grand-children, Timothy Lynn Nail of Stillwater, OK., Jasson Douglas Henderson of Vinita, OK.; two step-grandchildren, William Eugene Weimer, and Kimberly Lavone Burgraff of Mountain Home, Ark.; one great-grandson, Adam Cole Nail, of Los Angeles, CA (previously Effingham, Ill.)
He was preceded in death by both parents and three brothers, Ray, Lee and Willie Nail.
A private service will be held. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home, Ark.
