Bertha Irene (Coffey) Allen was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on May 11, 1936 to the late Leonard and Grace (Richmond) Coffey . She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her first husband Claude T. Allen, daughter Karen Sue Allen and daughter Mary Malissa Silva , sister Naomi Hall, sister Dorothy Newman, brother Fred Coffey,Brother James Coffey, and brother Clyde Coffey ,two nephews Lewis Coffey and Bobby Coffey, she is servived by Daughter Katherine (David) Harding, Son Richard (Lisa) Allen and son Kemuel Allen, she is survived by one Sister Mary Raulerson and one brother Paul Coffey and departed this life on Monday May 4, 2020 at 1:07 am at the compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky one week before her 84th birthday at the age of 83. Lakes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and there will be a private grave side funeral service will be conduced by rev Bobby Owens of Berea at 1:00 pm on Friday 8 May, 2020. Pal bears will be Larry Coffey, Kenny Hall, Edward Coffey, Gary Martin and Danny Raulerson, Davis-Witt Cemetery on Friday in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Bertha is buried right beside of her mother in the Davis-Witt Cemetery
