Laura Dezell Center, 86, of Malden, Mo., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North in PoplarBluff, Mo.
Born Feb. 18, 1916, in Obion, Tenn., daughter of the late Andrew Johnson and Hattie May Wilson Center, she was a member of the Beechwell General Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Georgia O'Neal, of Campbell; one sister, Wretha Ramsey, of Portageville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jerry Lee O'Neal, Jr., of Campbell, Melissa Reinheimer, of O'Fallon, Ill., Charles O'Neal, of Chesapeck, Va. and Chris O'Neal, of Seffner, Fla. and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Stephens, Fourtha Wilburn and Arby Center.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 6, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral servicecs will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Schlager officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
