Connie Sue Baggett, age 63 of Tallapoosa, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020. She was born September 7, 1956 in Griffin, Georgia, daughter to the late Charles Williams and Mamie McIntyre Williams. She was a graduate from Carrollton High School and received a Nursing degree from University of West Georgia. She retired June 9, 2018 from Onestaff Medical where she worked as a traveling nurse. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Lyndia Williams. She is survived by her son, Kevin C. Daniel of Atlanta; her lifelong partner, Harl Baggett of Tallapoosa; sisters, Debbie Ashmore of Carrollton, and Teresa Rooker of Dallas, GA; and brother, Chuck Williams of Orlando, FL. In keeping with Connie’s wishes, her body has been cremated. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at 3 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Joe Driver officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
