Patricia F. Servant, 84, passed away on a Saturday, with loving family members by her side.

She was the youngest daughter of Andrew and Kathryn (Gersich) Bakran. She attended Escanaba Area Schools and graduated from Escanaba High School in 1954.

Patricia (Patti) worked as a secretary for OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, before being employed at Harnischfeger, where she met and married the late Theodore (Bud) Servant on Oct. 8, 1960, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wells. They shared 27 years of marriage until Bud’s untimely death in May of 1987. They made their home and raised six daughters in Escanaba.

Patti was a faithful member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Escanaba. She was a devoted Catholic and especially enjoyed liturgies led by the St. Anne’s choir. Patti was known among her friends and family as a skillful card player, and playing bridge was one of her favorite pastimes. She actively volunteered in her community, in more recent years, as an Escanaba Community Thanksgiving Meal food server for seniors in need. Her children and grandchildren were a very important part of her life. Spending time with them and sharing their accomplishments brought her great joy.

Patti was survived by: daughters, Lisa (Steven) Good, Anne (Mark) Johnston, Gina (John) Walsh, Laurie (Greg) Shoemaker, Amy Servant Tillman, and Monica Servant; grandchildren, Molly and Joseph Good, Haley and Katie Johnston, Kevin, Jack and Charlie Walsh, Zach and Jake Shoemaker, Carolyn (Michael) Misterek, Nicholas, Jacob, Allie, and Mark Tillman; sister, Ann Goodreau; brothers, Tom (Edith) Bakran, and John (Judy) Bakran; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bud; sisters, Mary Bakran, Jayne Ferrari, and Elizabeth Potvin; brothers, Steve Bakran, Rudy Bakran, Joe Bakran, and Frank Bakran.

Due to concerns and restrictions surrounding Covid-19, funeral services celebrating Patti’s life will be conducted at a later date. Assisted by the Anderson Funeral Homes.
