Willie Lavern “W.L.” Garrison, 83, of Meridian passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020, at The Oaks Rehabilitation in Meridian. He was born May 7, 1936, in Sumter County, Alabama.
He was a retired used car lot owner.
Survivors include his wife, Donna P’Pool Garrison; daughter, Lexine Pace; cousins, Tim Rutledge, Pee Wee Rutledge, and Eugenia Roberson; daughter-in-law, Swan Poole; granddaughter, Dani; and two great grandchildren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Sonja Saterfiel; and sister-in-law, Carla Schroeder (Kurt).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Gray Garrison and Ora Mabel Rutledge Garrison; son, Marlon Blane Garrison; and grandson, Damon Pace.
Due to the Covid19 epidemic, a private graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Eureka Cemetery in Fordtown with Rev. Donald Turner officiating.
