Julia Christine Reese, 90, St. Augustine, died at the Bailey Family Center for Caring surrounded by her family. She was born in Gaskin, FL and had resided in St. Augustine since 1960, moving here from Tallahassee. She was a loving, devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and a longtime member of McDowell Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family. Funeral services were held on Monday March 11, 2013 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Clarence Blalock officiating. Interment took place at Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Reese, David Reese (Cheryl), all of St. Augustine; three sisters, Willene Curran, San Diego, CA, Lola Bourque, Hartford, CT, Annette Campbell, Tallahassee; grandchildren, Dana Morris (Tim), Travis Harrell (Kathy), Kimberly Reese, Jessica Brumleve (Eric), Austin Reese (Brianna), Brittney Reese; great-grandchildren, Nathan Bickhart, Troy Bickhart, Bree Harrell, Macy Harrell, and Braden Reese. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Howard Reese and a daughter, Barbara Harrell. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
