Private burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Grant Park, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice or to the Zion Lutheran Church in Grant Park. Hack Funeral Home, Beecher, is in charge of arrangements.
Joan was born July 13, 1930, in Reddick, the daughter of Eugene and Violet Webster Yaeger. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose passion was her flower garden.
Leaving to mourn her are her loving husband, Glenn; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Karen Eckhoff, of Momence; one daughter, Debra Reising, of Beecher; five grandchildren, Kristen Eckhoff, Sarah (Ronnie) Hoppel, Lindsey Nelson, Melissa Eckhoff and Alex Nelson; one great-granddaughter, Maecy Jo Hoppel; and one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Darlene Yaeger, of Beecher.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Steve Reising.
