Funeral services for Virginia "Jenny" Daniels, 80, of Wolfforth, TX, formally of Haskell, TX, were held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 14, at East Side Baptist Church in Haskell with Dr James Heflin officiating. Burial was in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Holden-McCauley Funeral Home. Virginia died Sunday, August 12, 2007, at University Hospital in Lubbock, TX.

Born April 5, 1927 in Maywood, CA, she was the daughter of Raymond & Lillian (Reaves) Banks. Leaving California when only a few months old, she moved to Texas with her family and became a lifetime resident of Haskell. She married Jack C Daniels, Sr on October 6, 1942 in Haskell and they farmed west of Haskell for many years.

She became a Christian at the age of twelve and was a longtime member of East Side Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Jack; a half brother Vernon Banks, a twin brother James Arthur Banks (died at the age of 6-months; and one sister Edna Mae Banks Grubbs.

Survivors include their one child, a son:
Jack C Daniels, Jr and wife, Mae (Brown) Daniels of Wolfforth, TX,
(both former Haskell, TX residents).

Two sisters, Doris Roberts of Haskell, TX & Melba Mower of Jacksboro, TX.

Grandchildren, Vickie Mae Mandrell & husband Cecil of Lubbock, TX.
Kimberly Sue Daniels of Lubbock, TX.
Johnny Carlton Daniels, and wife Jodie of Tulia, TX.

Great-grandchildren, Chad Mandrell & wife Lara, Christopher Mandrell, Justin Schoepf, Ronnie Lynch, Kellie Hamm and husband Chris, and Maegan Daniels;
Numerous nieces & nephews.

Great-grandchildren served as pallbearers.
