Robert "Bobby" Coone, II Of Mt. Morris, age 33, died tragically as a result of an accident.

Robert was born May 7, 1974 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. and Carol (Schultz) Coone. He was a graduate of Davison High School, class of 1993, where he played football, basketball and baseball. Over the past several years, Robert had worked for Tuffy Muffler, Jim Waldron Pontiac and most recently at Applegate Chevrolet in Flint and was passionate about all sports. He was a giving person who helped others and it is only appropriate that he was a Gift of Life Donor.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jacob R. Coone, and his mother, Vicki Rosser, mother, Carol and husband Douglas Woodin, father, Robert D., Sr. and wife Joann Coone, brother, Terry J. LeClaire, three sisters: Cindy and husband Rob Bruce, Michelle Best and Tejhette "Tiki" Taylor, grandmother, Sally Hammock, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his special friend, Tammy Chapman, whom he was helping the night of his accident.


He was trying to get help for his girlfriend who was hit by a hit and run car as they were walking. As he was trying to flag down a car he was hit and killed.COONE, Robert "Bobby" D., II -Of Mt. Morris, age 33, died tragically Tuesday, August 14, 2007, as a result of an accident. Funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Mr. Vernon Lawrence will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Robert's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm, Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm and again from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday from 12:00noon until the time of service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family fund for Robert's son, Jacob. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
