Nelton Henry Gillham, 71, of Greenville passed away Feb. 2, 2007, in Greenville. A memorial service is at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Williams Catholic Church with Father Paul Weinberger and Deacon Lee Davis officiating. Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 28, 1935, in Commerce, Mr. Gillham is the son of James Dennis and Frankie Mae Poteet Gillham. He was a long time resident of Greenville and a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He was married to Guillermina Rodriguz on Oct. 4, 1972, in Dallas, and to this union was born a daughter, Mary Lou Gillham.

He is survived by his wife of Greenville; daughter of Dallas; two brothers Jimmy Gillham and wife Dana of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Jimmy Gillham and wife Norma of O’Fallon, Mo.; nieces Cathy Bowman and husband Gary of Lone Oak, Cheryl Evans and husband Steve of St. Charles, Mo., Asley Johnson and husband Brent of Paris, Texas, and Paula Smith of Kaufman; nephews Tony Gillham and wife Becky of Shreveport, La., Kevin Gillham of Cash and David Smith of Lone Oak.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Smith and niece Carrie Gillham.
