Imelda Janet Cooper, 90, Died on May 16, 2014 at the Compassionate Care Hospice, in Dover. She was born in New York City and lived in Clifton, NJ for 35 years before moving to Ledgewood in 1995. She worked as a switchboard operator for AT&T in NYC and for the Travelers insurance company in Newark and Morris Plains. After retiring she found her true calling as Doting grandmother to her 11 grand children and 13 great grand children, and their husbands and wives. She was a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens Club. Her generosity and kindness will never be forgotten by those who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband William A. Cooper in 1992. She is survived by her daughters; Melanie Wilk and Margaret (and her husband Richard) Ahrendt.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10:30 am at St. Therese R C Church, Succasunna with the interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair. Arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com).
