Martha L. Baumgardner Butler, 82, formerly of Peoria and Mason City, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.

Born to George H. and Amy Matilda Goodin Baumgardner, she married Bill Butler in 1959. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are one daughter, Amy Jo Royer; one brother, Dr. Carl (and Mary) Baumgardner; one sister, Betty "Nip" Baumgardner ; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She managed Mathews Music Shop in Champaign, headed a millinery department at Berg-ner's in Peoria and later worked with her husband, operating a number of DeLuxe Mobile Home sales, services and parks in several central Illinois towns with Peoria as their home base.

She was a member of Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Peoria since 1973.
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in rural San Jose.
