---Larry David Basler, age 75, of Macon, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at his home, southeast of Macon.
---Larry was born on November 28, 1944, in Macon, the son of Ralph and Juanita (Lucas) Basler. Larry was united in marriage to Louise Flaugher on November 28, 1965, at the Mt. Zion Christian Church in Tuscumbia, MO. He served in the United States Navy for 2 years on the USS Orion. Larry attended the First Baptist Church of Bevier, MO. Larry was a hard working man and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and telling stories. He especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved family who made him so proud and brought him such joy.
---Larry is survived by his wife, Louise of the home; four sons, Dave Basler and his wife Melissa of Macon, Steve Basler and his wife Georgia of Salisbury, MO, Eric Basler and his wife Cindy of Macon, and Jason Basler and his wife Sonna of Macon; fourteen grandchildren, Josh and his girlfriend Abigail, Justin and his wife Samantha, Madison, Lindsey and her husband Chase, Jonathan and his wife Bree, Andrew, Erika and her husband Brett, Adrienne and her fiance' Billy, Deric and his wife Natalie, Codee and his girlfriend Makenzie, Presley, Cale, Riley, and Brock; thirteen great-grandchildren, Thomas, Roy, Cooper, Ellison, Rylen, Britton, Fischer, Isla, Tegan, Emily, Koda, Beckett, and Stella.
---He was preceded in death by his parents.
---Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, with Bro. Jim Bolin officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery, southeast of Macon. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-3 pm, at the funeral home in Macon. The family suggests memorials to the Bethlehem Cemetery.
