She was born to Richard and Jeannie Hagar Aplin.
"Lace" is survived by (5) daughters, Jamie Kae Collins (and Sam) of Belvidere, Ill., Elizabeth Willams Neace (and Chris) of Carson City, Nevada, Salina Aplin Gorman (and Dustin), Elizabeth Anne Aplin Murdock (and Michael) and Rose Aplin Murdock, all of Monmouth, Ill.; (2) sons Jake Aplin Gorman (and Sandra) and Steven Aplin Applegate, both of Monmouth, Ill; (2) brothers, Mike (and Carol) Aplin of rural Abingdon, Ill, and Rick (and Cheryl) Aplin of rural Berwick, Ill, and (14) grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents.
She had lived in Monmouth the past (7) years. Prior to that she had made her home in Galesburg, Abingdon, and Williamsfield, Ill. and Las Vegas, Nev.
She was a homemaker who loved being a mother and grandmother. Music was the heartbeat of her life and family. "Lace" was a generous giver who opened her heart and home to anyone who neded it.
