Mrs. Brower died at her home in Marysville. She had been a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1967 and had worked for Hall's Business Supply for 23 years and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Marysville, thr Marysville Art Club Bridge Group and No Kiddin' Lunch Bunch.
She also served as a volunteer home visitor for the American Cancer Society.
Previously in Minnesota, she and her husband started a heating business, where she was the bookkeeper and owned and operated a bed and breakfast on the north shore of Lake Superior for 13 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years.
