Graveside services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. The Rev. Don Gibson will officiate. As per her wishes, her body was cremated. There is no visitation. Memorials go to a charity of choice.
She was born March 31, 1905, in Hudson, Ill., the daughter of August and Emily Gellert. She married Arthur Lemme July 27, 1923, in Peoria. He died in 1975.
She worked as a cook at The Rock Island Bank for many years and for the public-school system.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island. She loved her family.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Virginia Lemme, Surprise, Ariz.; several cousins, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lois Grchan and Martha Ayers; and a grandson, John Lemme.
