Obituary for Annie Lee "E" Suggs Fields Adams
Funeral services for Annie Lee "E" Suggs Fields Adams, 95, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Scott Petry will officiate with burial in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Adams, widow of Robert G. Fields and Troy D. Adams, died Monday, November 10, 2008. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late John Gettys and Annie Beasley Lee Suggs. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Keen Teen, UMW, Red Hatters, and Rose Trellis Garden Club. At age 77, she went to the Philippines on a church mission trip. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Mary Frances Fields of Lydia, SC; daughter-in-law, Janice Fields of Lydia, SC; brother, Charles W. Suggs of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Craig Fields, Cathy Fields, Jan Fields, Dawn Ellen, Tanzy Moore, Vicki Olson; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Fields; sisters, Frances DeWitt and Aggie Dall; brother, Jack Suggs; grandson, Todd Fields.
