Desert Sun Feb 24, 1969 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wiefels and Son Mortuary Chapel for Clifford Ward Marshall, 65, who had been on the desert less than two weeks. He died Saturday at a local hospital following a brief illness. A native of Cookston, Mmn., Marshall had been in Palm Springs only 10 days. His address was 14 Garfield St. Survivors include his wife, Audrey; a brother, Harold Marshall of Napa; and three sisters, Marie Mac Donald of Oakland and Mildred Tabott and Grace Lindquist, both of Superior, Wis. The Rev. Jack Morrow of the Desert Chapel Church will officiate. Private cremation will follow.
