Passed away Saturday at Franciscan Health Lafayette. She was a resident at Ben Hur Health & Rehabilitation and passed away due to complications from Covid-19.

Daughter of Henry Hansford and Hazel Mae Maddox Benge.
Married Russell Jewell McCullough December 23, 1960. He preceded her in death June 5, 2019.
Survivors include son Russell J. “Rusty” McCullough Jr; daughters Kristina (James) Sowers and Mary Ellen “Ellie” Johnson; brother James (Marjorie) Benge; sister Rebecca (Wayne) Shaw; grandchildren Andrew Sowers and Chelsea (Dustin) Morman; great-grandson Ezra Morman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, grandson Mason Wall, brothers Cecil “Buddy”, Virgil “Ricky”, Samuel “Sam”, and Donald “Pujer” Benge and sister Mary Riley.

Attended New Ross Schools.

She was a homemaker and worked at the Ladoga Nursing Home.

She enjoyed working with ceramics, making crafts, buying jewelry, going shopping, and camping.

Public graveside service 12:30pm Thursday, May 21 at New Ross Cemetery.
