BRADFORD - Irene Beverly Salomaa, 85, died at the Blue Spruce Home for the Retired on June 20, 2009.
She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in West Topsham, the daughter of William Merrill and Reta (Thurston) Welch.
Methodist Church in Waits River.
She was predeceased by her parents, her stepfather, and her former husband, Theodore Salomaa Sr.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Burroughs of Hampton, N.Y., Linda Tillotson of East Corinth and Brenda Batten of Corinth; one son, Theodore Salomaa Jr. of Bradford; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Smith of Meredith, N.H.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At her request, there will be no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 26, at 1 p.m., in the New Hope United Methodist Church in Waits River. Burial will follow in the West Topsham Cemetery.
Ricker Funeral Home, Woodsville, N.H. is in charge of arrangements.
