Friends are asked to call from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie Edwards and one son, Roger Dale Edwards.
Some of Mrs. Lula's hobbies were cooking, working in her flower garden, gardening but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a talented Seamstress and made many clothes for family and friends. She enjoyed attending Mass and until recently she was going to St. Margaret's in Boyce.
Those left to cherish her memory include: four daughters, Billie Ann Brown; Bernadine Hunley; Rosemary Chianelli (Ralph); Linda Jean Thomas (Tracy); three sons, Alton Ray Edwards; Dewey Glenn Edwards (Doris); Kenneth Lee Edwards (Cathy); Fifteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; six great great -grandchildren; one brother, Cleveland Paddie (Mary) of Marksville, LA; Bernice Roshto and Marie Parker.
