Gene Eddy age 67, of Rector, died Saturday, June 5, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.
Mr. Eddy was a retired truck driver for Buske Freight Company.
Mr. Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Dowell and Donnie Hudson Eddy, a son, William Eddy, and three brothers.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with C. Ray Miller officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were William Sweetwood, Donnie Dale Eddy, Chris Eddy, Kyle Eddy, Jeffery Eddy, & Jason Eddy. Honorary pallbearers were Cole & Chad Eddy.
