Washington, IL - Charlotte Ruth Harms, 81, of Gibson City, formerly of Colfax, mother of a Washington woman, died at 9:28 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Mrs. Harms was born June 9, 1926, in Bloomington, a daughter of Elton T. and Helen T. Carney Bane. She married Nolan E. Harms on Dec. 15, 1946, in Colfax. He survives in Gibson City.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sally (Cliff) Smith of Washington and Kathy (Mike) Brown of Sibley; seven grandchildren, the Rev. Brian Smith, Jill Cranford, Tim Smith, Dave Brown, Doug Brown, Danny Harms and Kristie Harms; five great-grandchildren, Ross, Darrin, Haley, Ryleigh and Mindy Brown; and a sister, Carol Bane of Springville, IN.
Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery in Colfax.
