Born in London, 22nd of June, 1706, and the only child of Stephen Galloway, Gent., by his wife Elizabeth Turbeville. He was admitted a Novice of the Society (of Jesus) in 1724, and in the eighteenth year later, was promoted to the rank of a Professed Father. For many years he was incumbent of Norwich. By the death of his parents he came into possession of considerable property, the bulk of which he bequeathed, at his death, which took place in London, 23rd of June, 1799, to Edward Huddlestone, third son of Ferdinand Huddlestone, of Sawstone Hall, Cambridgeshire, Esq.
