Mrs. Ida M. Meyer, 79, life-long Nebraskan, died Sunday at Cortland. Born in Elk Creek, Neb., in a log cabin, she lived most of her life in the vicinity of Minden and Kearney county until her marriage in 1933 when she moved to Cortland to make her home.

Surviving are her son, John F., Greeley, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Campbell, Lincoln, and Miss Estella, Cortland; two brothers, Charles Smith, Jr., Nora, Neb., and David E. Smith, Salem, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Mathiasen, Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Nellie Olson, LIncoln; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheridan Blvd. Baptist church. Rev. Albert E. Mygatt will officiate with interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
