JACKSONVILLE MAN DIED WEDNESDAY AT AGE 86 YEARS
Jacksonville, Aug. 24 - (Special) William Adams, 86, died at his home on Depot Street at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon after a long and useful life among the people of this county, much sorrow being occasioned by the passing of the familiar figure.
Mr. Adams had been an elder in the O. S. Presbyterian church for 68 years, during which time he exerted a wonderful influence among the people with whom he lived.
Mr. Adams is survived by three daughters and one son, two brothers, John and George Adams and several grandchildren.
