Daughter of Raymond Eugene "Ray" Kliesing and Peggy Elaine Giles

On the way home from an afternoon of fun at the Children's Museum in Houston on the last day of Spring Break 1996, Jamie, her Mom, and little brother Kevin, were in a horrible automobile accident with a cement truck.

Jamie and her Mom were killed instantly. Her little brother Kevin survived and, after spending several days in Pediatric ICU, was able to fully recover from his injuries. She would be so proud of her little brother now for having earned a Black Belt in Karate.

Jamie was an intelligent, caring, and compassionate little girl. She had a kind spirit and a bubbly outgoing personality and did not know a stranger. She loved to sing, dance, play soccer, and was quite a little artist. She was fond of drawing rainbows in all shades and colors. With colored chalks, her frontyard sidewalks were her canvas. Jamie was a daddy's girl and loved to go exploring with him by cycling or hiking on trails through the nearby woods and along by the creek. Her favorite bedtime companion was a cute little stuffed elephant that she had named Emily.

She loved to sing along with songs on the radio. This was her favorite: An American Girl

Jamie was dancing in the aisles to this one at the Houston Rodeo Concert in the Astrodome: Mary Chapin Carpenter. People were stopping to watch her, she was so cute in her country/western blouse and skirt.

This was another one she really liked:
Watching The River Run

The next time that you see a beautiful rainbow up in the sky, it might just be the creation of a little angel named Jamie.
