Lucille was the daughter of William Crofton & Katie Russell. She graduated from Lyndon Institute in Lyndon Center, Vt. She married Norman Stark November 24, 1932 in Greensboro Bend, VT. Lucille enjoyed gardening, rock collecting, photography, and quilting. She loved camping and hiking in Baxter State Park where she spent many hours photographing plants and wildlife and made many friends. Lucille and Norman had two daughters, Joan and Lucy.
