Cause of Death: Myocarditis (Heart Attack).
Burial: June 27,1935.
Funeral Services for Daniel Richard Hubbard will be held in the McBratney funeral home at 3 p. m. Thursday. The Rev. S.I. Poage and the Rev. W.J. Luscombe will officiate. Muisic will be furnished by a quartet from the first Congregational church. The following men will act as pallbearers: E. A. Crooks, D.C. Arnold, Charles Kroeger, I.A. Weaver, Wayland Stevens and Frank Fiss. Burial will be in Morris Hill cemetery."
Aged 76 yrs. 9 mos. 23 days.

Born Daniel Richard and called D.R., he moved with his wife and daughter from Iowa to Idaho in 1901. Along with his brother-in-law, Fremont Teed, he established the town of Kuna, actively worked on reclamation of land in the Boise valley, and, at his own expense, recruited new residents to the Boise area from the mid-west. As a member of a growing community he was generous with his time, abilities, and resources. In later years a school in Kuna was named for him.
