ALAN SMITH CAMERON: Came to Indian Territory from Vanderbilt University. He served Alluwe and Talala in 1905. In 1906 he was sent to Choteau and Inola. He served as Methodist minister in Claremore, Idabel, Oklahoma City, Altus, Lawton, Clinton, Wynnewood, Tipton, Tulsa, Columbia Ave. and Wagoner. He went to Wagoner in 1936 and retired there. He died June 4, 1957 and is buried there at Elmwood Cemetery. He married Rue Pauline McSpadden at Claremore,Rogers Co., Oklahoma Dec. 29, 1905.
