Minnie Beard Abbott, 87, of Port Gibson, Mississippi died Monday, May 25, 2020. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at McBride Cemetery, Union Church, Mississippi, under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Minnie was born in Jefferson County February 20, 1933 and lived in Port Gibson, Mississippi most of her adult life where she retired from National Plastics, Port Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Abbott, and daughter, Margaret Abbott Varnado.
She is survived by her sons, Dexter Abbott and Tom Abbott, grandson Zeke Raner (Ginger), granddaughter Emily Abbott Baker (George), and two great grandchildren, Sam and Mary Margaret Baker. She is also survived by brothers Tommy Beard and Billy Beard.
