Annetta was born on August 28, 1925 in Charlotte, Illinois, a daughter of Frank and Gertie (Haase) Saathoff. She married Berdell Galloway on March 16, 1947 in Charlotte. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2015.
Survivors include: three sons, Dan Galloway of Thailand, Ron Galloway of Chatsworth, Illinois and Gary (Jenise) Galloway of Chatsworth, Illinois; two daughters: Judy (Dave) Gragert of Pontiac, Illinois and Cathy Durham of Fairbury, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Jeremy Donnelly, Ryan Petrulakis, Ron Galloway, Brandon Galloway, Mykal Galloway, Caleb Durham, Shawna Carver, Kiley Donley, Bria Salinas and Kerber Galloway; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Annetta was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Annetta was a 1943 graduate of Chatsworth High School. She worked at Baldwins Dry Goods for six years and then moved to the farm where she helped her husband on the farm. Annetta was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Chatsworth, Illinois and the Chatsworth American Legion Auxiliary
