Margaret Cantrell Ward age 71 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born March 16, 1949 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Alonzo and Virgie Ellen Penley Cantrell. Survivors include three sisters, Mary Francis Tackett of Royalton, Kentucky, Virginia Ruth Crace of Salyersville, Kentucky, Hulda Salyers of Marion, Ohio, with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by eight brothers, Wonnie Cantrell, Sherman Cantrell, Joe Cantrell, John Cantrell, Lonzie Paul Cantrell, Raymond Cantrell, Henry Cantrell, Franlkin D. Cantrell, seven sisters, Hulda Cantrell, Thelma Marie Penley, Ann Edith Cantrell, Eliza Betty Francis, Mandie Ethel Meade, Fannie Lemaster, and Stella Cantrell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Sunday, May 31, 2020 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dallas Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Fork Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky.
