BISHOP, Bruce Loren age 70 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Bethesda Arrowsprings in Lebanon, Ohio. Born October 26, 1949 in South Lebanon, Ohio, Bruce was a lifelong resident of Warren County and was a loving husband, brother and friend to all who knew him. Bruce graduated from Kings High School and attended Miami University in Middletown, Ohio. Bruce served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a member of Kings Point Church of God in Maineville. Bruce was retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. Bruce was also a well known realtor and had worked for Jack Nicklaus Golf Center for 14 years. During his spare time, Bruce enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Iola (nee Ledford) Bishop and sister Imogene Morgan, Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Rebecca (nee Bolling) Bishop of Lebanon, Ohio; sister Norma Stephenson of Morrow, Ohio and many other family members and dear friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 29, 2020 from 10am until time of service at 12pm at Kings Point Church of God, Maineville, Ohio. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastors Wesley Glines, Randy Ballard and Josh Butler. Interment will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
