Jere H. Merrill, 69, resident of Rialto many years, residing at 333 North Riverside avenue, died Friday in a San Bernardino hospital. He was a native of Des Moines, Iowa, and had been in California for 66 years.
Surviving are a nephew, Allen Craig, Tucson, Ariz.; a niece, Mrs. June Madden of San Bernardino. He was a member of the Rialto Methodist church and of the Modern Woodsmen of the World. Ingold Funeral home of Rialto is in charge of arrangements. The funeral will be held at Ingold's Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. W. H. Stockton of the Methodist church in charge. Interment will take place in Rialto Park cemetery.
