Needham Obsequies.
The death of George W. Needham occurred this morning between the hours of 2 and 3 o'clock and was a surprise and shock to his friends, who, while they knew that dread disease consumption, had its hold upon him, little thought the end was so near.
Mr. Needham himself realized his condition fully, but for the sake of his wife and family tried by every means of medicine and climate to regain his health, or at least prolong his life.
Georgo W. Needham was born in Illinois, January 16. 1869, and was married to Miss Nellie Drayton at Tampico, Illinois, May 3, 1893.
They came to Rialto in May, 1901, having resided here ever since that time.
Besides his widow and two little daughters, Macie and Maudie, there are left to mourn a father and mother and two sisters in the Eastern home. The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, under the auspices of the Masonic lodge of Colton, of which he was a member. Interment will be in the Park cemetery of Rialto.
