Nancy Alcorn, age 81 of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020. She was born on January 8, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Dan and Mable Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Alcorn, her daughter Stephanie Rowena, son Curtis Alcorn, brothers Ray, Harold, and Kenneth Nichols, and her brothers-in-law Roy Edmons, Charles White, Carl Caldwell, and Lee Davenport. She is survived by her sisters Imogen Edmons, Linda White, Rebbecca Davenport, and Teresa Baker, her grandchildren Lindsey Wisniewski (Chad), Kimberly Alcorn, Carl Alcorn, and Justin Hundley. She is also survived by three beautiful great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a natural born caregiver. After losing their mother at a young age, she and her oldest sibling mostly raised her younger siblings. She also raised her own children and her granddaughter. She was always very supportive, attending every school and sporting event. Nancy loved being outside and especially loved flowers and gardening. She was an Eastern Star for over 25 years, and she adored Elvis Presley, as they shared the same birthday.

A visitation for Mrs. Alcorn will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 4pm-8pm and again on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 10am-11am with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning at 11am. Burial in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will follow. Spring Hill Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final care of Mrs. Alcorn. 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37216. (615) 865-1101.
