Born November 21, 1932 in Peoria to Louis C. and Josephine A. (McGarvey) Zeeck, she married Floyd Keyes. She later married Robert Barbour and Jerry Howell.
Surviving are 2 sons, Floyd (Joy) Keyes, II and John (Pam) Keyes, both of Pekin; 2 daughters, Belynda (Ed) Nash and Joetta (Trent) Pullum, both Pekin; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Ada worked as a packer at Nestle/Libby's in Morton for 30 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of The Salvation Army in Pekin and its Home League; Pekin Union Mission and its Carrie M. Club for over 50 years; Teamsters Local #627 Retirees Club; and AARP.
Ada enjoyed scrapbooking, Bible studies, and playing Wii Bowling while at John Evans Supportive Living Community in Pekin.
