Ohio, Waterville - BETTY JO HODGES, 70, of Waterville, OH and formerly of Tennessee, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at her home. She was born July 14, 1937 to John and Eura McGariety Alexander near Chapel Hill, TN. On June 28, 1957 she married Herman Hodges in Mississippi. Betty worked for over 15 years at the Engineered Products Company in Tennessee as a part-time bookkeeper. She was also a long time member of the Lea Clair Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. Betty is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Kenneth) McKay of Waterville, OH; three grandchildren, Raechel McKay, Christopher Seelig and Heather Seelig; and one brother, Mike Alexander of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Martin Hodges in 2002; her husband in 1987; and four brothers; two sisters. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar.
