Everett Stewart was born February 2, 1925 to his parents, Oscar Stewart and Bessie (Day) Stewart at Hartshorn, MO.

He passed away Wednesday evening August 8, 2007 at his home in Hartshorn, MO, making his age 82 years.

Everett served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1947. After serving in the Army, he went to eastern New Mexico to work on a farm.

He also worked in the oil fields.

While working in New Mexico, he met his wife. They were married October 11, 1948 at Portales, New Mexico, when he was ready to return to Missouri. To their union, two children were born.

Everett is preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Elmer Oscar and wife, Pearl, James Wesley (Bud); Paul Amos; sisters, Velma Kirkman and husband Bert, Ethel Farrow and husband, Dewayne; brother-in-law, Glen Atchison, and son-in-law, Leroy Crider.

Surviving are his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. Everett is also survived by his sister, of Houston, MO; two brothers, and sister-in-law, Juanita Stewart, and a host of other family members.

Services were held Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
