She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cantrell Cooke; parents, Doctor Ledford "LD" and Claribel "Clara B." Cash Martin; and brother, Ledford D. "Don" Martin.
Bettye is survived by brother, Harry Winston Martin; daughter, Lynda Adolphus-Wicke and her husband Charles Wicke; daughter, Sherry Blattel and her husband Rudy Blattel; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her funeral service was March 1, 2007 in the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home.
