She was a retired tax clerk with Nations Bank Mortgage and an avid reader.
Mrs. Queen was preceded in rest by her husband, Jack Queen; three brothers, Douglas, Robert and Arnold Brady; and a sister, Darlene Cotner.
She is survived by three sons, Micheal Queen (Mary), Steven Queen (Scott Mize) and Thomas McKenzie; a step-daughter, Jacquie Hicks (Rob) two grandchildren, Stephanie Queen and Michael Anthony Queen; four brothers, Cecil Brady (Jean), Charles Brady (Linda), Randy Brady and Gene Brady (Judy); and three sisters, Dee Brady, Sherri Berlanga (Ruben) and Barbara Boston (Bob); and attended by Chuck Bauer.
Her funeral will be on Saturday at 11am at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with entombment following in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 2pm until 8pm.
